365 Days of Sport Radio Show - feedback

Postby bignbeefy » April 26th, 2017, 5:35 am

Hi guys and gals,

After the epic 365 Days of Sport journey, we have been given a radio show which will air on the biggest sports radio station in Australia (a lot like Talk Sport).I have been asked by the Station to get some "focus group" style feedback together so we can develop the concept before it goes to air later this year.

The first few shows are online at http://365daysofsport.buzzsprout.com/ - they are the ABFAB shows that are on there.
You can also get the 365 Days of Sport shows on Itunes too - https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/365 ... 23719?mt=2
Or jump on the facebook page instead - https://www.facebook.com/365daysofsportradio/

I would love to hear your feedback and any ideas you may have to make the show better, funnier, more entertaining etc. It might be a good distraction on the the 5 hour trip to Carlisle on the weekend!

Thanks for taking the time to listen (hopefully!)

I did wonder how that venture went after you had previously mentioned it. I will try and listen to the link when I get home from work later. I do hope it was all successful.

Daft question as I'm crap at technology. Is here a way to download them like a podcast and save them? I'm going to Gibraltar tomorrow so would
Love to listen to them on the plane instead of my Mrs telling me about the make up in the magazine and how I'm not spending all Saturday in the casino watching Jeff Stelling cringe

Thanks Baz - glad you are enjoying it.

It's a lot of fun!

PS I tried to get someone from NCFC for an interview last week for my other radio jon. After confirming everything on the Friday, I followed up on Monday and guess what - nothing!!! No reply, no acknowledgement, nothing. I tried Wattsy and his comment was - "nothing to do with me, I;m in Commercial"

It seems to me we have amateurs masquerading in a professional world!

Hi mate,

I remember you coming on cricket tour with us (Llanwern) before you went away. I reckon you scored a ton on the Saturday and took 8 wickets on the Sunday but it might have been the other way around.

Anyway I will have a listen later.

Hey Craig - remember that tour like it was yesterday although I thought I got 9 wickets on the Sunday, got the first 8 and then some clown took a full length diving caught and bowled to get the 9th!!!! I was gutted and I recall the whole ground just going silent!!!!
The 100 came off 31 balls too I think we worked out. Weren't we 26/6 chasing 160 or something??? and won by 2 wickets.... Great times. Jimmy Khan getting force fed pork scratchings too....

Thanks for having a listen - we like to have a bit of fun!!

All the best and will probably see you all in early 2018!!!

Seems like a good show. However, could you tell us where the County segment shows up. I listened to a story about Guyana, Guinness six packs and two Irish guys cycling through Thailand. Not much interest in that but I would listen to your County bit if I could find it.
