bit of lite banter

Postby Harps62 » March 14th, 2018, 9:30 pm

Seroiosly things have got a bit hevvy tonight.
Anywaay bit anoied that a few on ear are having a popp at my grammar.
So back after a nice chip supper would the likes of Exile & Squirrel and anybody else at a loose end care to pick out all this grammar incorrectly used on say my last 20 contributions.
Every one spotted I will put 50p towards JDRF (Junior diabetic research fund)
Its football related as the threads involved are under football.
Cheers
Harps.

Evening needs litening upa bit (that doesn't count by the way).

Hello mate.
Things need lightening up a bit
No cash changed hands so far but happy to do it.
Everybody struggling to find anything.
Just realised if I was quick I could amend anything before being spotted anyway but I wont (honnist)

Bloody hell, cant be arsed to look back on your posts Harps but If we just picked out your use of 'of' instead of 'have' you'd have to remortgage your house ! Haha.... So just put £20 to National Autistic Society and we'll call it quits...

Open to debate that one.
Sorry good charity but my 2 beautiful granddaughters are both Type 1 diabetics so anything would go there.

It's not open to debate, it's 'should have' not 'should of', simple as that.
My niece to diabetic so give the £20 to a diabetic charity then.

Harps, you have a habit of mixing up lose and loose and to and too. Can't be bothered to search for them now but you could give a few bob to your charity all the same. It's my Bayslick school years that make me notice stuff like bad grammar.

Percy sure you are correct my friend as is Exile.
Certainly agree on too & to and sometimes there & their but things like that are nowhere near some diabolical grammar on here.
Fear not am always looking at ways to chip in some cash for JDRF.
Trying to get back into running but at 68 think a marathon is way in the past now so maybe a local half in my own time would generate a lot of donations.
No fish and chip suppers if I do though.

Does it count double if I mention it too? That's the main one for me.
