Anyone fall for it ?

Postby neilcork68 » February 14th, 2019, 3:23 pm

Valentines day that is..Where shops pubs / businesses inflate their prices .
if you love someone you should tell them daily not just on the 14th February because its Valentines day

my wife gets flowers every week and has done for the last 24 years ...Ok they are from Aldi but I still get them for her as she loves the gesture and having flowers in the living room window

Driving back from a romantic lunch my wife asked me to pull over so as to buy some flowers for her daughter. She went in to the supermarket and came out within five minutes without flowers.

"20 Euro for a crap bunch of tulips, they must be f@cking joking."

I think you'd get on with her Neil.

I told her, "I've got us a table for tonight. It's a coffee table, flat packed. Have it put together by the time I get home!"

Break 'n' Dish on Stow Hill (the old Annabels/V3) also has two full sized tables and might be a bit closer to home. There is parking around the back (go past Queens, turn left and then left again).
