Re: Meanwhile in India
We're getting marmalized as I lay in bed Sun morn.... Now do I get up to watch the inevitable, I ask myself?
Re: Meanwhile in India
Well that escalated quickly...
Win the toss, win the game.
Win the toss, win the game.

Well I got the first part right

Re: Meanwhile in India
So where do you draw the line about preparing pitches for home benefit?
Especially as the toss becomes so important.
Surely that pitch breaking up on the first day is unacceptable, regardless of the skills of players?

I quite like it as well though, sorts out the men from the boys and you're pretty much guaranteed a win either way
Re: Meanwhile in India
It's bloody hard work watching England trying to take the last wicket

Norm, I would love you to be able to repeat those words at about 6.30pm on Saturday, but somehow, I don’t think you’ll have to.

Re: Meanwhile in India
I wouldn't be too sure..... We appear to be stuck in a safety first mindset.... fancy a very close contest that could go either way
Re: Meanwhile in India
Yeah that's where Buttler would have come in handy. Can't understand this team selection, at least one of the front line seamers and Stokes are likely to be passengers in this match, we may as well have played an extra batsman, if not Bess.
Re: Meanwhile in India
Blimeeee... Funny old game
Re: Meanwhile in India
Rootttttttttttttttt!
Re: Meanwhile in India
Never see anything like this. Two wickets in two first balls, one not given then he gets him with the third ball. Ffs. Wow.
