Yesterday watched my team defending most of the game, admittedly down to 10 men. Today watching my team defending most of the time even with a one man advantage.
It's so stressful!!
Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
2I'm not sure how much I can take. If the cat wasn't sat on my lap I'd have gone into another room. Ireland are so superior in every department (even red cards ) that it's excruciating.
Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
4A good game entertainment wise...result either way til the whistle
Cricket and Rugby on Steam TV ...whatever next???
County beat Southend by more than one goal?

6A win is a win, but.......
Error strewn game. What was Gareth Davies doing kicking out of possession with seconds on the clock. As for that last Irish kick, well........
Ireland should have won it, Scotland probably will.

Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
7Haven’t watched a six Nations game for a while,we looked poor, short on confidence but scrapped home,a bit like AFC really. Why was Barnes asking who the line out receiver is,I thought half the battle is to bluff where it is going, that’s why the hooker shouts numbers first.
Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
8Great to send the micks packing. Not as good as they think. Cheap shot by o’mahoney picked up, cost them the game the fecking idiot.
Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
9Sure the line out receiver Barnes was referring to in this instance would have been the scrum half, or player receiving the ball from the line out. It's about equal numbers in the line-out and only one player permitted outside of the line out and within 5 mtrs of the line out.Percy plunkett wrote:Haven’t watched a six Nations game for a while,we looked poor, short on confidence but scrapped home,a bit like AFC really. Why was Barnes asking who the line out receiver is,I thought half the battle is to bluff where it is going, that’s why the hooker shouts numbers first.

10Oh right,I hadn’t heard a ref say that before, although I don’t get to watch many games as it normally clashes with us,thanks.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Sure the line out receiver Barnes was referring to in this instance would have been the scrum half, or player receiving the ball from the line out. Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
11I watched about half and it reminded me what a poor game RU now is, with the ref needing to be in continuous dialogue with the players to tell them if they are within the rules.
Players' size and fitness mean compared with when I was a kid the pitch is in effect now too small and games just become attritional. For the commentators for obvious reasons it has turned into "spot the head injury".

12Some head injuries are, I suppose, inevitable. The violent assault that resulted in the red card would result in an arrest if committed in the street.George Street-Bridge wrote:I watched about half and it reminded me what a poor game RU now is, with the ref needing to be in continuous dialogue with the players to tell them if they are within the rules.

Re: Meanwhile at the Principality Stadium
13With all the talk of head injuries it still seems strange how little head protection there is or is worn. As for the increasing amount of barrel-chested behemoths playing the game maybe a weight limit should be put in place.
