Where am I slagging off JE anymore than dozens of other posters including you.
You really need to chill out.
"Darren was a fine player in his time"

Is that correct. Yes

"Obviously National league South"

Is that correct? No

How does that have anything to do with JE.

Give it a rest please.

In fact f***k it

Over and I am out.
Darren Jones may have been "a fine player in his time", however he seems to have found his current level at Bath City, 10th in the National League South. Is that correct?

Of course it's correct now. In his time Darren was certainly a lot better than Connie South but NOW it's his level.

It wasn't the fact that his legs were going during his last season with us its the unprofessional attitude he had. He loved to go out and get mullured almost every weekend. As a Professional Footballer of his age its not the best way to go about being 'Professional' is it ?
Granted he did his best but if he had been more professional in his attitude he could and would have been a much better player.

Is this some sort of record?
Chippenham had a player sent off after 3 seconds in 2009. His name was Pratt. The record is Gillespie of Sheffield Utd and Boyd of Swansea who in different games were both sent before play had resumed so technically were sent off after 0 seconds.

I still don't quite get what the whole deal of offering a contract to myrie Williams was. I guess most of us assume that him and Jackson were offered low wage squad filler contracts. Jackson said yes, mw thought he could haggle maybe?

Possibly, though neither of them did enough to warrant being offered new deals imo.
