2The fella will one day pull out like the Rushden scenario and that will be curtains for them.

I know, I did a double take when I read that !

5And whatever they were paying them, the manager had to recruit 10 new players in the January window because that bunch were taking them down.Taunton Iron Cider wrote:Their wage bill is bigger than our turnover!
They are potentially on thin ice in more ways than one. What would happen if Ecotricity became so successful someone made an offer he couldn't refuse and the new owners didn't share his enthusiasm?
Re: £2.1m Losses
6FGR is but a plaything for Vince, if he sold Ecotricity it would be for mega bucks so probably nothing would change. I would eat veggie burgers too, if we had someone like him putting millions into the County and paying for a new ground. Let's not forget that these are not loans but donations, so no repayments to be made.George Street-Bridge wrote:And whatever they were paying them, the manager had to recruit 10 new players in the January window because that bunch were taking them down.Taunton Iron Cider wrote:Their wage bill is bigger than our turnover!

7Totally agree, if we had that type of donations from a multi millionaire we would be sticking two fingers up to the rest of the league.

8Isn't that what happened at TNS, the guy sold the company but continued to fund the club from his own fortune made from selling the company?Taunton Iron Cider wrote:FGR is but a plaything for Vince, if he sold Ecotricity it would be for mega bucks so probably nothing would change.
