Re: Sleet and breezy
2From Chesterfield twitterFollowing overnight snowfall, ground staff are currently assessing the conditions at the stadium ahead of this afternoon’s game. We will update as soon as there is anything to report.
Re: Sleet and breezy
3I live about 20 mins away from Chesterfield and we've had about 2 inches of snow.
It's raining now so will hopefully wash it away
I think the game should be ok but I would wait for updates before setting off
I just tried to ring Chesterfields stadium but no answer

5I live 10 miles from the ground in the opposite direction from Worksop.
We are at a higher altitude to the ground
Had about 3 inches of snow, thawing now helped by the drizzle
I'll be disappointed if they don't get the game on but probably depends on the state of the pitch under the snow
I wouldn't be traveling in the opposite direction without hearing more from the club

We’re planning for today's game at home to Newport County AFC, after the referee took a precautionary look at the pitch earlier this morning following overnight snowfall. Fans are advised that unless weather conditions worsen significantly, the game will go ahead as planned.

7Game on unless weather worsens considerably

10That's a shame .do the Supporters get refund on the coach fare from FA or home club I wonder
Re: Match off
11Shame for fans that have travelled
I climbed on the bus for 40 minute journey, sat down and had a call from my lad saying it's off
A few pints in Chesterfield it is then

14I doubt we'll get a refund as we're not the official supporters club!! I hear they're going to Kidderminster v Brackley but we're already in Chesterfield.
Re: Match off
15Absolutely nothing to do with Chesterfield having a huge 6 pointer against Grimsby this Saturday. Honestly guv.
