To the National League North
Re: coleman sacked
4Thought you meant John Coleman for a second, that would had been crap reward for getting Accrington promoted
Re: coleman sacked
6Really surprised he took the job.He could have had further talks with FAW but seemed to jump at the first offer that came along.
Re: coleman sacked
7I would imagine he was offered a lot more money for managing Sunderland than he was for managing Wales.
Re: coleman sacked
8Chris was outspoken with regards to continuity going forward. His direct and indirect criticism of the owners, Chairman looks to have not been tolerated.
Surely he would have known that! Makes you wonder if he generated incentive for a push to get out of being a league one manager at what appears to be a poorly run club.
Only an opinion.

Re: coleman sacked
9I'd agree with that assumption. When it was quite clear that the team was not improving, maybe even getting worse, he probably thought that being critical of his employers would make it certain that time would be called at the end of season.
Re: coleman sacked
10I think that he has been sacked from all of the clubs he has managed except for Wales where he had few options open to him and the team almost picked itself.

Looking at the way Westley, Pardew, Hughes etc continue to get work, I don't think that matters as a manager.
Re: coleman sacked
14Crap manager and even worse tactician. Can't fault him for his results with Wales, but you have a talisman like Bale that wants to play for his country and lifts everyone around him. Imagine if Bale was like the current manager who only turned up when he felt like it. Would Ramsay, Allen, Williams be as committed as they are now?
Coleman got very lucky and he jumped at the first half decent club job that was waved at him in the right timeframe. He's been found out now and unless he drops wage demands or works for bugger all then he will struggle to find a job in the top 2 tiers for quite a while.

Re: coleman sacked
15Suspect Sunderland were known to be such a basket case it won't wind up reflecting badly on his CV.
