18I believe it is (assuming these player databases are correct).Amberexile wrote:Talking of Poole, is his contract up this summer?
Though at Northampton he’s been used primarily as a DM which, given he’s 5’ 10”, makes more than a little sense.

19Wouldn’t be surprised if we have a different keeper for the start of the season.

If there's a decent fee involved that will certainly happen.
I would like Flynny to bring in Ollie Davies, I think he'd be at the very least a good back up.

23Scott Flinders? Yeah, good keeper. He signed a long term deal this season though I think

25Gregor Zabret,Swansea's Slovenian u23 keeper will be 23 in August so too old.He is effectively fourth choice so unlikely to get new contract there.Would he want to stay in S Wales?.

26Talking about wanting to stay in Swansea I wonder if Leon brittan and Angel Rangel are willing to drop way down the leagues just to stay local maybe while doing their badges? Both have been there for so long maybe settled in the area.Percy plunkett wrote:Gregor Zabret,Swansea's Slovenian u23 keeper will be 23 in August so too old.He is effectively fourth choice so unlikely to get new contract there.Would he want to stay in S Wales?.

27Rangel would be, I’d have thought. My concern is just how many veteran right-backs we need

28When you think about it you can sign a player at anytime what you can't do is play him. The transfer window opened for us as the referee blew the final whistle at Carlisle.Exile 1976 wrote:Looks like the transfer window will be opening Thursday.

30That's because officially, there is no such thing as a transfer window. That is just a name used by the media that has seeped into common usage. Officially we have Registration Periods and of course it is the registration of players that is the crux of the matter. While we can sign a player and even play a player, doing so without registering the player will result in punishment.Stan A.
