Talking about wanting to stay in Swansea I wonder if Leon brittan and Angel Rangel are willing to drop way down the leagues just to stay local maybe while doing their badges? Both have been there for so long maybe settled in the area.

Hasn't Brittan announced he's retiring but would be worth asking the question

When you think about it you can sign a player at anytime what you can't do is play him. The transfer window opened for us as the referee blew the final whistle at Carlisle.
That's because officially, there is no such thing as a transfer window. That is just a name used by the media that has seeped into common usage. Officially we have Registration Periods and of course it is the registration of players that is the crux of the matter. While we can sign a player and even play a player, doing so without registering the player will result in punishment.
