I realise that but after having a 'good year' financially last year we keep hearing the rumours we are 'on the edge of oblivion' because we are skint ???
OK we lost £350,000 the year before but made £750,000 from the cup run last season. Surely if you include the increased gate receipts and season ticket sales we have a bit of a 'nest egg' ???? If not , why not ????
Re: Informed sources tell me.
79And if we have a nest egg, would you think that blowing it on Akinde, or any other overpriced League Two player would be a sound idea?

Re: Informed sources tell me.
81Considering our position ie don’t own stadium etc I would think keeping any nest egg back for emergencies would be a good idea. Certainly not spending it on a guy who should be playing at a higher level but seems happy to plod along in this league while he does his studies.neilcork68 wrote:excessbee wrote:Nowhere near the numbers for Lincoln.neilcork68 wrote:We had an FA Cup run.
