I got your point pretty clearly. It was about intolerance and allowing the people that pay more to have a greater say in what occurs on match days.

My view, there is an intolerance of people who express views that don't suit the views of the 'moral majority'.

This thread being a perfect example. The funny thing in terms of substance I seem to be in the majority. I disagree fundamentally with GSB's views with the drummer. In that I don't think any of us are entitled to impose our views on others.

But and another huge but, GSB is entitled to his view and is entitled to express that view. And those who are trying to prevent him from doing so are wrong.

When posts contain words such as 'this is a pointless thread. Or a view is met with WTF or rolling eyes, it is an expression of ridicule. Ridicule is a method of trying to silence people.

If you disagree, even fundamentally with what someone has written with I think you're wrong because...... it starts a debate and makes you marshall your thoughts. If you write to the effect your view is so stupid I can't be bothered to answer it all you do is invite a personal response and a debate degenerates into a mud slinging competition.
