I haven't had a football bet for ages, so I thought I'd chance my arm on an accumulator.
I picked out 12 home teams, all odds-on, all of whom had to win their respective games. They all did the business bar Blackpool.
£489.05 for a £2 bet I missed out on.
Everton, West Ham, Derby Co., Barnsley, Blackpool, Cambridge, Colchester, Celtic, Motherwell, Arbroath, Peterhead, Stirling Albion..... all to win at home.
Still bit of fun eh!
Re: My weekend football bet ruined by Blackpool...
2I'm not a betting man, but to get twelve correct and get less than 500 quid seems a poor return. Probably just means I know nothing about the topic. I guess it's because they're all odds-on to start with.

I know what you mean.....
I was so close to winning the Euro Lottery last Friday.
If only I had bought a ticket
Re: My weekend football bet ruined by Blackpool...
6My weekend bet was 5 aways, County were the shortest odds, also went for FGR, Burnley, Brighton and a lovely 30/1 on Saints, and every single one of them lost, some by more than others. As it happens the bookies were absolutely spot on with the longer odds losing by the most goals.
Still, "value".
