Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
2So this message was posted at midnight and the Web page says '3 hours ago'. Am I missing something? Did the club issue this news after we scored the second goal.
Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
3And Wrexham won't get any allocation !
I wonder if we'll add extra seats in the away end like we did for Spurs ?
I'm sure the demand for away tickets will be bigger than Leeds , cos they don't take any away fans anywhere !!!!!

5A shame that the club is using the Leicester match as a pretext to artificially increase the gate for Saturday’s game against Franchise FC, a pariah club who don’t deserve to exist.
As far as I’m concerned, we don’t have a match against legitimate opposition on Saturday. I’ll be off to watch some local non-league instead.

6Shame you can't support YOUR team against whatever the opposition is.Kairdiff Exile wrote:A shame that the club is using the Leicester match as a pretext to artificially increase the gate for Saturday’s game against Franchise FC, a pariah club who don’t deserve to exist.

It's a poistive marketing initative that WILL bring money into the club - beggars can't be choosers!
I applaud the club for this action.

7I support Newport against any legitimate opponents. But when Franchise FC stole another club’s league place, there was a consensus amongst football fans that the new outfit would be treated as a pariah club, separate from “normal” opponents. Many people seem to have forgotten; some of us won’t forget.
I’ll be back for the Crawley game (already looking forward to it after last night’s performance), but I’d never watch a match involving Franchise.

9Eh?
FGR were formed in 1889. They stole their place in the Mid-Gloucestershire League from the incumbent Stroud Gas Mantle Fitters who subsequently rose from the ashes as AFC Haresfield Corgi Fitters ...

10How many tickets are we obliged to 'offer' Leicester for our upcoming match?
Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
1115% of capacity (about 1300 based on current capacity of 8750 - not sure if we have to offer more if we get temp stands erected)OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:How many tickets are we obliged to 'offer' Leicester for our upcoming match?
Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
12Agreed. Maybe extra seating with a temporary stand be placed on the Southern end as was the case v Spurs.Willthiswork wrote:15% of capacityOLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:How many tickets are we obliged to 'offer' Leicester for our upcoming match?

13If AFC Wimbledon sell tickets for matches against them why would anyone else care?Kairdiff Exile wrote:I support Newport against any legitimate opponents. Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
14Didn't Spurs waive their cut of the ticket money provided we installed more seats for their supporters?
Re: Ticket News : LEICESTER CITY
15Obviously i wrongly thought capacity was approx 7.500. Does 8750 include the North terrace?Willthiswork wrote:15% of capacity (about 1300 based on current capacity of 8750 - not sure if we have to offer more if we get temp stands erected)OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:How many tickets are we obliged to 'offer' Leicester for our upcoming match?
