This chap must be on drugs the most horrible dirty cheating team in the league plus a referee that should be nowhere near the football league.

Re: What Flitcroft had to say
2Total bollocks. His team play acted and hacked County for 100 mins. Nasty team and ref gave them 90% of decisions.
So glad Labs and Bennett stood up to them and dished a little bit back.

3Some people just can't accept defeat gracefully, especially when it doesn't happen to them often.tompkip wrote:This chap must be on drugs the most horrible dirty cheating team in the league plus a referee that should be nowhere near the football league.

Sadly such lack of integrity is what often gives football a bad name.
Hopefully we won't have to play them next year.

Re: What Flitcroft had to say
4Joke at Swindon. Same at Mansfield. Poor team and a bad loser. A team of skinny quick lads with noice haircuts who ran into men today. Blaming the pitch....?! Llol.
Re: What Flitcroft had to say
5Hopefully the F.A. will have picked up his remarks and act accordingly.
Re: What Flitcroft had to say
6Not the usual thuggish Mansfield style. They were a bit wimpy and complaining about decisions all match. One obviously coached tactic was to stay on the deck after a tackle and stay there until the ref stopped play, then miraculously recover without the need of the physio and having to leave the pitch. Crying wolf like that makes you think twice when someone does get a bad injury (like Danny Rose today). Hope he's OK. I've never seen a referee mop up blood from the pitch with a towel before.
Re: What Flitcroft had to say
7Their trainer needs to be more aware of H&S rules with regards blood spillages also. The towel as far as I can see was left exposed at the side of the pitch. Should have been wrapped and disposed of appropriatelyexcessbee wrote:Not the usual thuggish Mansfield style. They were a bit wimpy and complaining about decisions all match. 8What an absolute tool.
He is right about one thing, foul after foul. But it was all from Mansfield. Never heard so many yelps and screams from players looking for fouls , and so many of their players lying on the pitch after a challenge looking to the ref. Their number 23 was a disgrace, moaning, whinging at his own players and the ref all day .
Great result for us today.

9Yes, never seen anything like that on the pitch before. Hope the player is okay as he must have lost quite a lot of blood. You're right about the trainer, but I was also surprised to see the referee mopping it up and then carrying the towel without plastic gloves. H&S nightmare.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Their trainer needs to be more aware of H&S rules with regards blood spillages also. The towel as far as I can see was left exposed at the side of the pitch. Re: What Flitcroft had to say
10Match stats. 13 fouls apiece.
Incidentally..Middlesbrough game seemed good clean match must have only been a few fouls? NGR??

Re: What Flitcroft had to say
1213 fouls apiece given ? First half in particular I would guess at least 50% more not given against Mansfield. Worst first half performance from a ref I've seen in a long time. At one pint within the first 15 minutes he seemed to have no idea how to restart the game with a drop ball.
Re: What Flitcroft had to say
14I think he'd forgotten what had caused the stoppage in play (he had stopped the game for one of Mansfield's 'non injuries'). As the ball had somehow ended up in their goalie's hands, he thought he would just commence from there.

15What a whinging so & so........You were beaten by the better team mate.......get over it
