Just got home from Colchester we were dreadful. No passion or desire to compete never mind win!! No one came away from the game with any glory not one player performed. Our game must be Wilmott on RW supplying crosses for Podge and Matt. We didn't do that. One week we are good then the next rubbish. Play Offs are still doable but not on today's evidence.

The new signing on the left wing is surprising. I'd have thought central midfield was the area to reinforce.

Flynn said in his post match interview the players looked flat ! Do not understand this a week after Carlisle game and chance of the play offs against another contender.
Professional footballers sometimes they take it for granted what most of us would dream of as our profession and where is this so called Great Escape mentality.
All of our players need to change this abysmal away form for Tuesday against Northampton or our season is playing for nothing but midtable mediocracy.

We struggled today but it wasn’t for the lack of trying . As usual though with a lot of our fans, a defeat and we were ‘clueless’, ‘weren’t trying’ etc etc... nothing at all with Colchester being a decent side.
As for the ******* ripping into the players at full time....hey ?

It wasn't me by the way but why are they embarrassing ?
They have spent their hard earned , travelled all the way from probably Newport to Colchester and they have to witness the team that ''weren't up for it( MF's words )'' IMO they have every right to be peed off with the team for a gutless performance..

Why is some seem to think just because they are our players they are above criticism ? If they overstep the mark , then yes punish them but if not after having spent a fortune to watch a 'poor performance' from the team , then I cant see a problem with it.
The players love the admiration they get after playing well in the glamour games and should accept the criticism when they dont
