Two things stick out for me - he can play either side as a CB or full-back and he sounds as keen as mustard to impress. Neither is a negative,
Welcome Marvel

17With a name like Marvel, why not make him Captain?wattsville_boy wrote:Two things stick out for me - he can play either side as a CB or full-back and he sounds as keen as mustard to impress. Neither is a negative,

19That's not a fact. It's a supposition.Percy plunkett wrote:The fact remains,it must have been difficult for a commentator at Chelmsford or Oxford at that time.

Best of luck wearing the famous amber shirt.
A bit concerned looking at Hungerford's record last season. Avoided relegation by 3 points with a goal difference of minus 27.
Re: Announcement at 12pm
22Hmm..... I may have seen our man Marvel play for Hungerford. I went to watch Truro (at Plainmoor) last season and didn't really pay much attention to the teams, other than that Paul Bignot played for Truro and Ramone Rose for Hungerford. He may have been playing.
Re: Announcement at 12pm
23I had the same concern but 1 man doesn't make a team. Charlie Austin also played for them for 1 season and only scored 5 goals. Maybe the step up to full time will benefit him and we might have a gem. In Flynny we trust.Cornish Exile wrote:allontheamber wrote:It's a big jump from Conference South to League 2 and quite a gamble giving him a 2 year contract. 24Have read in various places of a few fans who rate him highly and wish he'd signed for their league teams so maybe we've got a good one!ulkraineinthebahrain wrote:I had the same concern but 1 man doesn't make a team.
