On a serious point the WRU are nobody's fools. They bought Rodney Parade for far less than it's true value, their duty is to Welsh rugby, they have us by the short and curlies.

We might get a deal, I doubt their intentions are to be overly generous.

It suggests to me that the WRU do not want to sell RP at all.

I thought that was the inference also, especially not during the current period of the Newport County's tenancy or Newport RFC's rent free agreement.

Sounds positive to me, "working through to the satisfaction of all stakeholders" is the exact opposite of "we'll do what we like".

I wouldn't really expect them to say anything different, but they don't have to say anything at all that they could be held to later.
