BAR AMBER...Happy 1st birthday!

1
It was announced on Saturday, that Bar Amber was one year old on that day. One year of providing a place to drink for people to know that the profits will end up where they belong!
I always find the place is a good indication of the attendance: If it's busy early, chances are there's a good gate in store.
I like the place, but it does get somewhat packed in the 'golden hour' - one hour before KO.
Obviously County fans drink elsewhere too, but I do sometimes wish it were a bigger venue, so it could accommodate even more fans who wished to go in, although there is a fair bit of standing area around the outside area.
What I'm seeing it lacking, is somewhere for families (although kids do go in there), somewhere to eat, something that's not just drink, but more of a matchday destination for fans of all types.
It's got great staff, good prices, good atmosphere, everything we want to see really....just a bit small.

Anyone have any thoughts on Bar Amber?... If you have never used it on a matchday, what are the main reasons for not doing so?
If you regularly frequent the place, what are the things you like / dislike about it?

If I win the lotto any time soon, my plan is to buy the old TJs venue and turn it into a proper music/sporting venue for pre and post match.
Can I ask that you ban pensioners?

Actually no need, TJ's will be too big no doubt....
Is'nt it a burned out mess?

Yep. Recent renovations have really improved the place.

Appreciate its better than nothing.
Absolutely pathetic comment.

On a thread that should be nothing but praise for this venture, that pumps money into the club off the back of volunteers hard work, sweat and tears, the only thing you can come up with is a negative swipe.

Pathetic Harps.

It's probably because the outside is painted the wrong shade of amber.

I bet they'll tell you who supplies the sandwiches though.

How is that moaning seriously.
Okay if it makes you happy its far too big
Brilliant that it became available but what do you want everybody to say.
Its perfect okay.
Happy now.

You're head is so far up your own arse it's unreal.

How about actually thanking Bar Amber for all they do for the club?

Idiot.

I really cannot stand you Ironsider.
How is stating its too small a negative swipe.
Read the originator of the threads comments instead of going off on one.
He is correct in everything he says.
Brilliant that's its totally jammed and making money.

But its not for everyone hence regrettably the marquee was jammed inside and out Saturday and the Hazel bar had a queue.
Clearly we do not make anything near the profit from that.
If you think that's moaning grow up.
