I think you are all missing something here a specially for the club. Without investing in the players by fundraising, I'm afraid that Newport County will always struggle in this League season after season. I hope I'm wrong.
Anyway I wouldn't mind setting up a Crowd fundraising page as plan B if leasing talks at RP go wrong but funding a player always looks cap in hand to me personally
