A first double of the season for County who snapped out of a very indifferent first half to be more decisive on and off the ball after the break
See Match Report on Medium below:
Great to see some smiling faces at the end today and a much needed league win.
Onto Swindon home next
Cheers
Mark
Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
2Thanks for the report Mark. It was a good read and nice to have all that info for those of us who couldn’t be there.
Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
3Yes Mark. I know you get very wrapped up in the game, but yours is always a much calmer analysis than those who post at half time!
Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
4That was a good read , unfortunately another opposing manager-criticised our style of play and knew what to expect despite not being able to get out of their own half in the second half. I wonder if he criticised the pitch at RP in October too.
Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
5Yes , I noticed that. When it comes to post-match comments after losing to us , these managers have very little imagination - and even less grace and humility. 6It is pathetic and actually highlights their own deficiencies as a coach. I don’t agree with Flynn criticising our own players publicly but I’ve never known him to blame another teams style of play for us losing, which is to his credit.lowandhard wrote:Yes , I noticed that. Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
7Agree with that , he may criticise the officials but not the opposition for winning. Like you though I’d prefer him to do his bollocking in private.Morganrum wrote:It is pathetic and actually highlights their own deficiencies as a coach. Re: Scunthorpe United Match Report
8Both sides struggled playing with the gale behind them
If anything Scunthorpe were even more direct and less precise
County do fling in the crosses and overdo the long throws a bit but also did a few clever short routines
If anything we mixed it up a bit

Yes indeed, agree entirely. Here's hoping for another example Saturday, Seems such a long time since one after a home game
