For brevity, how can anyone believe that abusing our own team is going to help performance? I’ll call them over on here and in the pub after the match but never hurl abuse while they’re playing. Just stupid.

Just treat people how you want to be treated. Hurling personal abuse from a stand or a terrace is a bit cowardly for me.

Humour is great like the "you're just a shit Jimmy Bullard" chant to the Macclesfield player the other week, it was spontaneous and funny. Winding the away bench and players up is part of the game and we're no doubt on the receiving end at away grounds. But there is a line that you don't cross, as for abusive comments to our own team that's just counterproductive.

It was good to see on Saturday I think it was one of the players father's have a quiet word with the bloke who was shouting crap at 2 of our very own players just after 20 minutes of the game being played.

Good for him.
