Known him for years , a very nice guy and well thought of by many of the folk of Underwood Estate.
I saw him late on the day before he passed away and asked if he was OK as he didn't look very well.He told me he was OK.
Totally shocked to learn he has passed away when I heard on the Monday after he died.....
I think his family will need to hire a bigger venue than the Crem to hold his funeral as so many people want to go to show their respects to a very well thought of guy.

3Neil!! do you know when the funeral is? as I would like to go and pay my respects. back in the 80s and 90s I worked with cav because as well as being a fantastic entertainer and rocker he was also a very good plasterer along with his brother noel.
