2I'm one of them. Luckily my accommodation is booked with a free cancellation clause. Just need Easyjet to formally cancel the flights and it should be alright.UPTHEPORT wrote: feel for those who made plans

Can't see why they would mate is it a schedule flight you could lose out there
Re: Euros cancelled
4They are currently cancelling many flights to Italy. Just need that to continue until June.
Re: Euros cancelled
5You may be able to claim 'consequential losses' against UEFA for cancelling the event. I heard that the WRU may have lots of cases against them for the cancellation of the Wales v Scotland fixture. Many people can claim these losses for hotels, flights etc... as the event was cancelled.excessbee wrote:I'm one of them. Luckily my accommodation is booked with a free cancellation clause. Re: Euros cancelled
6If Rome is 'open again' in June, then I could just go for a holiday without the football match. Not expecting that to happen though.

9I was due to be in Budapest now, all cancelled and refunded including additional flights we'd booked to get home early via Brussels. There's a lot of it going on at the moment.Willthiswork wrote:You may be able to claim 'consequential losses' against UEFA for cancelling the event. Re: Euros cancelled
11Postpone, although we would have been arriving fro Baku, we'll just rebook it all for next year unless they have some sense and revert to a single country as hosts.
Re: Euros cancelled
12Hope they see sense with the ticketing. Refund the money paid but offer the tickets, first refusal, next time round. No need to go through the application lottery system again, surely.
Re: Euros cancelled
13UEFA's words are-
UEFA would like to reassure existing ticket buyers and hospitality clients that if they cannot attend the tournament in 2021, the face value of their tickets and packages will be refunded in full.

14If you heard him/her correctly, he or she was talking nonsense. You may have a case for a refund from airlines or hotels. However the idea that the WRU/UEFA could be sued for calling off a game in the current situation is utter bollox.Willthiswork wrote:Just quoting a solicitor on the radio.Stan A. I'm with Stan on this one though.
