If anyone knocks on your door and says they need to stick their finger up your arse to test for Coronavirus, it’s a scam
I feel so stupid now
Re: Coronavirus - Elderly should avoid LARGE Crowds
227According to Michael Give construction workers can work on building sites safely. Really how can you fit windows and doors, lay pipes and countless other jobs without close contact with fellow workers?
You can't.
If anyone was in any doubt that Michael Gove is a total f@cking pr!ck that uncertainty must surely now have been removed.

228But we've been told to stay in for at least 3 weeks now.neilcork68 wrote:As i said, thats it done now for me.....
i aint going outside the door unless there is an emergency for 9 more days until I am clear of the isolation time
Re: Coronavirus - Elderly should avoid LARGE Crowds
229Construction workers are self employed, they don't get 80% of their wages like on the books workers,or our players and management who get the full 100%,they get nothing.I'm not saying just go to work regardless, the government need to look after self employed as well to discourage them going to work. There are instances where it would be alright, say you have a roofer or gutter man working on your property,he stays outside. You don't make him a cuppa or invite him in for a sandwich and speak at a distance. If he needs the loo then that could cause a problem. As for work in being done indoors, that has to be postponed.Stan A. 231Nobody is arguing about emergency plumbers if your pipes burst. But building sites are dangerous enough as it is.UPTHEPORT wrote:People will still need building repairs etc
Simple solution give a universal basic income.

232I'd be up for that but doubt comrade Boris would find is quite so appealing as I.Stan A. Einstein wrote:Nobody is arguing about emergency plumbers if your pipes burst. But building sites are dangerous enough as it is.UPTHEPORT wrote:People will still need building repairs etc

233I've been sent home got nasty cough and temp and lost sense of smell and taste
But I'm not important enough to test as a humble porter apparently only front line nurses and doctors being tested
But Charlie boy has had a test

235Does make you wonder with all of these “important” people , and “celebrities” announcing that they’ve tested “positive” ?UPTHEPORT wrote:I've been sent home got nasty cough and temp and lost sense of smell and taste

NHS staff being told to stay home if they have symptoms , but not getting tested to clear them to return to work ??
Stay safe Jim

Re: Coronavirus - Elderly should avoid LARGE Crowds
236Look after yourself Jim, I think it’s a disgrace that people are not being tested and the figures government are quoting are therefore bullshit. My eldest son is a respiratory consultant at UHW and of course I’m extremely concerned.UPTHEPORT wrote:I've been sent home got nasty cough and temp and lost sense of smell and taste

This government led by Bozo have done far too little and far far too late. Disgraceful cavalier attitude by this lot , they have squandered the warning time they had for economic dogma and endangered us all. Early on they failed to control immigration and didn’t test and track. Test, test and test again.
On the point of Charlie boy , your point is well made. Incidentally apparently it’s ok for him to go to his holiday home unlike the rest of society.
Re: Coronavirus - Elderly should avoid LARGE Crowds
237That is due to those unwashed fingers up your back passage yesterday.Just tap your ruby slippers together and say "there's no place like home" and it will soon pass.Get well soon Jim.UPTHEPORT wrote:I've been sent home got nasty cough and temp and lost sense of smell and taste

239As I said everyone's a socialist now. I genuinely despair that those who are most useful to society are the worst treated and the lowest paid. As far as I'm concerned the test on Boris the Idiot is the only positive thing about him.UPTHEPORT wrote:So prime minister gets symptoms he gets tested i get symptoms but told im not allowed a test despite working in nhs and Wales worst effected hospital

240Let's simply ignore the fact that he has to meet people on a regular basis to try and sort this crap out as well as his partner is pregnant, he is isolating from her. I doubt that his story and yours compare. You can go home and netflix and chill, he can't really.UPTHEPORT wrote:So prime minister gets symptoms he gets tested i get symptoms but told im not allowed a test despite working in nhs and Wales worst effected hospital
