Blimey it has gone quiet on here!
Anyway, am fortunate enough to be fittish and have had some good local strolls .Now I can have a safe walk round the local golf course, (2 mins away) and find the lost balls!!

Hi Norm, we are fortunate to live pretty much opposite a golf course, and a historical monument.
Although on a main road, our outlook is trees and woodland, and much appreciated.
However I have noticed a steady stream of men pulling their golf carts across the road for a free round of golf!

Yes, privileged to be able to see it from the bedroom window, thankfully just finished a 9 month restoration programme where it was under scaffolding and boarding. But now all that done a few months ago.
It was a momentous journey and most folk have heard of Charing Cross in London but know no more of it.
