Number 1 The restart is team A kicks off
Number 2 Goal
Number 3 In a dead ball situation a player can not touch the ball again until another player has.
Number 4 Freekick against blue for gaining an unfair advantage
Number 5 would be play on unless the player sustains and injury from being hit ie full whack to the head
Number 6 When play has stopped caution the keeper(no penalty)
Number 7 Send off keeper caution player anther player has to be subbed
Number 8 the VAR would rule it offside. He becomes offside when the ball is played before the handball

Assuming that you can't score an own goal from a free kick a) would be a corner?

Interestingly enough there is on record an own goal scored from a penalty, in Scotland apparently, crashed against the bar and got caught in the wind. Unlikely as that might seem.

b) I would have thought an uncontested dropped ball, with the defending side returning it to the attacking side.

I stress I don't know, these are guesses.

Thanks for posting this UTP, as a local parks referee (cue the jokes about not knowing the rules) I felt I really ought to know them all, without looking them up. I agree with your answers apart from two -

(4) Blue player is cautioned for ungentlemanly conduct and an indirect free-kick is awarded to the reds, from the spot where the blue offender was stood.

(6) Is most definitely a penalty but no caution for the GK so long as the referee felt he was making a genuine attempt to get the ball. Double jeopardy rule means you can't caution the GK and award a penalty unless the ref feels it was a foul and the GK was trying to take the opponent not play the ball.

Thanks again. I might post a few odd scenarios from my own time on the pitch wearing black.

Love these, thanks.

1 Team A is awarded a Direct Free Kick (DFK) from outside their penalty area. Team A has a wayward defender take the kick and it goes directly into his own goal. What?s the restart? Kick-off. Own goal stands.

2 Just as the attackers takes a shot on goal the ball bursts and rolls to a stop just in front of him. He then kicks the ball into the net whats your call... Play on

3 A player takes a corner kick the ball rebounds from the goal post and the same player kicks the ball into the net what action would you take. Indirect free kick for defence five yards in from the corner.

4Player Red is throwing in the ball. A Blue defending player yells out ?Over here? deliberatly confusing the thrower. The thrower inadvertantly throws the ball to Blue. What action would you take. Yellow card, retake the throw.

5 if a player stops to tie their shoes during a game and the ball hits them when they are not looking. You should Play on unless he has sustained a serious injury, in which case restart with a dropped ball after treatment

6 A goalkeeper and an attacking player on a fifty /fifty ball collide and slide over the goalline some 10 feet into the area inside the netting between the goal posts. The ball is stopped on the goal line. The attacker attempts to reach his leg out, intending to draw the ball back over the goalline. The keeper scambles over top of the attacker in an attempt to grab the ball pinning the attacker's legs preventing him from doing so. A defender then manages to clear the ball from the area. What is your decision? Penalty

7 A goalkeeper is hurt during the course of a shootout and a substitute keeper from the bench is making ready to enter the field. An opposing player makes a snide remark of "Chicken" to the keeper who then strikes the opposing player. What are your options?
Ignore both or red card the sub and caution the other player.

8 : A player makes a pass towards his teammate who is in offside position running in the direction of the ball inside the opponents Penalty Area. An opponent reaches out with his hand and deliberately deflects the ball with his hand away from the goal to the player whom the pass was intended. Your action is: Offside, free kick.

4. Hmm. Depends whether "Over here" is considered by the ref to be a deliberate distraction. He may not have been intending the comment to the thrower ;-) Indirect free kick from where the player called out and yellow for the player making the call.
5. Play on, or dropped ball if the player badly injured and play stopped
6. Penalty, and send the goalkeeper off for preventing a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
7. Not clear whether it's the injured GK going off or the GK coming on doing the striking. If it's the sub GK, then red card him, caution the other player (and if it's his 2nd, then send him off). And then an outfield player sub the sub GK. If it's the injured GK, then red card him, book the gobby player and then a player finishing the match (on the field of play) should take over in goal (and oppos would have one player removed from taking pens to balance numbers).

EDIT: Actually Re (7), I've just realised (having stated so anyway) you can't sub a GK (any player) during a penalty shoot out, can you? They have to have finished the match on the pitch to take part in the shootout. So there is an issue with the question I think.
