There's a crisp ten pound note burning a hole in my pocket so I'm on this now.

I've logged into newport-county.co.uk, reached a screen inviting me to subscribe for the Scunny coverage for £10, and it's all come to a grinding halt.

On my screen I have "Newport County AFC" in the banner (with sub menus of News, Buy Tickets, Matches, Shop, Club, More) then below that there are Create Account, Payment Details, Confirmation.

Below that is a bouncing ball. Bounce, bounce, bounce. There it is, still bouncing, endlessly.

I will try again.

I think you have to wait until the day. Might be wrong but I'd do it on the day to be certain

I have just tried to purchase a match pass for tomorrow's match and it processed without any problems.

Went to the club website home page (the full website, not the mobile app version), clicked on the Matches link and a page opened up with a box showing the Scunthorpe match, along the bottom was a grey band with "Buy a video match pass" on the right hand side. Clicked on that and was then able to make the purchase.

Does all the money go to the home team or is there a % split?

I don't know but guess it would be treated the same as a normal league match where all the ticket proceeds go to the home team (less I-Follow's commission )

The thing I read suggested it would mostly go to the team you were registered through. I will try and find it.

Edit: can't find it. I have looked through so much Ifollow-related stuff this morning, sigh.

I think you could be right. On the EFL site it says

Support your club - at least 70% of net iFollow revenues go directly to your club

, so presumably the money goes to the club whose I-Follow link the pass has been booked through.

Good to hear our own club get a fair share of our money. Now, perhaps someone who knows how can go on Scunthorpe forum, and post a link saying “ watch the match on I-follow” then put up the link to the County I-follow, hey presto we get the money!
