Re: New Arrivals
3Well that’s a surefire way to piss people off, unless this too is a wind-up and there’ll be actual signings later
Imagine if the only real piece of news today is Sheehan leaving. Comms guy’s having a ‘mare

4Lighten up a bit, mate, and see it for what it was - a good way to give us all a giggle on a Tuesday morning and to mark a big moment for some of the squad in becoming dads.halfmoon wrote:Well that’s a surefire way to piss people off, unless it’s yet another wind-up and there’ll be actual signings later

Re: New Arrivals
5Very obvious that's what the story would be, given Demetriou was talking about it in the Argus yesterday.
It's like "What can we go into meltdown about today?" People should lighten up and not get sucked into the atmosphere of transfer hysteria which Sky tries to inject into the game.

Re: New Arrivals
6Hasn't gone down at all well on Twitter. I think the club has badly missed the mood of the fans on this one.
Re: New Arrivals
7No, it may have missed the mood of some fans who live through Twitter and spread rumours from there.

No George, its missed the mood of many fans on twitter, facebook, people who don't use either.
The club were the ones who put out the 'new arrivals at 9am' tweet so **** all to do with 'spreading rumours''
You really are a pompous prick
Re: New Arrivals
9Who started the Sheehan rumour here, based on a Twitter feed it now seems is notorious?
Re: New Arrivals
11Good laugh I thought, too many knickers in a twist. No wonder the world is falling apart now all humour is being expunged.
Re: New Arrivals
12Twitter just exasperates me. If thread titles were annotated with [Rumour] or [Twitter rumour] I'd skip them and save myself valuable seconds (that I could instead waste elsewhere on the internet).
