Looking at the list of teams that have been selected by the FL for this weekends Covid trials I have noticed that FGR has been chosen
Given that their ground has a Capacity of 5,147 and upto 1000 can attend games that is almost 20% of their capacity ..........
As their average attendance was about 2300 last season and that included away fans in that amount they must be almost at 70 /75% of their fans that can attend games.....lucky sods

According to Radio Wales yesterday the three Welsh clubs were still in conversation with the Welsh Government about it.
Expect a decision in February when Drakeford and his cronies get around to it.It only took them 10 years and £100 million+ to say no to a relief M4

Given our 'R' rate with Covid we won't get a chance anyway

Peterborough Sports can have up to 750 people on Saturday in a ground that can hold just 1500 but Peterborough can't have up to 1000 in a ground that has a capacity of 15,000

Thanks Neil. Not as bad as over here - FC IoM can’t play league games at all as the border is closed with U.K.

Cracking photo taken at Barrow last weekend which perfectly sums up the madness of all this. An empty EFL2 stadium right next door to a non-league ground with spectators in attendance.

Some very dodgy maths going on there. If a reduced attendance of 1000 represents 70% of their regular fans then their attendance comprises slightly over 1400 home fans and therefore 900 away (a sellout). A more realistic figure may be 2000 home/300 away. Their reduced capacity has been stated as 1175 (about 58% of their fan base). I'd guess that their trial match may be considerably less than 1000.

The Welsh government been doing a far better job than bungling Boris shower

I doubt that we could host supporters if the testing centre remains at RP.

It is difficult to imagine RP being opened up to spectators in any form with the city currently close to the local lockdown threshold of 50 cases per 100,00 population in 7days.

Its not going to happen in the near future.
Number of relatives are having tests done.
Its kicked off again probably to ignorance and refusal to obey the rules in place.
How you could possibly keep to the rules under the Hazel, toilets etc.
Its just not going to happen..

At our level there's not really any incentive to clubs wanting to play in front of fans as part of this trial.

We'd only get permission for 1000 fans to watch, and they would be paid-up ST holders. The club would have to employ staff to manage the crowd (stewards plus covid wardens) and the ticketing arrangements would be a nightmare (family bubbles ok to sit next to each other, everyone else distanced) plus the aggro around getting people to use a one-way system in the toilets etc.

Plus, throw in the latest hotspot figures and no club would want Welsh fans visiting.

Better to wait until the trial is concluded and someone says it's safe to return en masse.

It looks like we are not going to have crowds for some time.
Did our marketing department ever look into having those cardboard/plastic cutouts?
We have had 3 home games and a 4th on Saturday - missing out on potential revenue I would say.

The FAW have brought out the next phase of their,Tier 2 and below,return to playing Football plan. Friendlies only, from w/c 19th October for at least 3 weeks, and no spectators allowed.

Even with reduced crowds there would be a long queue outside the toilet, with difficulty in social distancing, and even greater difficulty for those with prostate problems
