Hope the subs will be grouped together somehow otherwise 10 stoppages will be a mare.
Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
2Well the Premier League system was to allow only three 'events', so to employ five replacements, one has to be three for three or two for two twice.
Edit: I'm probably wrong on that. It was a maximum three events, so I suppose a 'mega-event' of five in one go would also be allowed.

Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
3In the Premiership, did many teams use five subs?,I would think it disrupts a team too much to use five.If three have already been used and someone gets injured then fair enough.

4I can see a quarter of an hour stoppage time minimumfaerun exile wrote:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54989289

5Could definitely benefit us with the strength of our squad and the way we manage games.
Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
6I much prefer the old fashioned way of 'managing games'. Score a second goal... It's much less stressful for us fans.
Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
75 subs but still only 3 opportunities to make them.
Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
8Will be interesting to see how this pans out - maybe less squad rotation if core players can be subbed more often. Could be good for us as we have a strong 18-20 players.
Re: EFL clubs allowed to use five subs for rest of season
94 + Willmott for or us then every game then You just know MF will bring him on probably as first change unless of an injury

10Although is not the old fashioned saying '2-0 is the hardest lead to defend'?excessbee wrote:I much prefer the old fashioned way of 'managing games'. Score a second goal... It's much less stressful for us fans.

11I’ve got a solution to that, bring him on at 45 minutes - and sub him at HTneilcork68 wrote:4 + Willmott for or us then every game then You just know MF will bring him on probably as first change unless of an injury
