I'd be happy with that starting X1. I may prefer Shephard to Baker, but Baker did well at Orient so probably deserves another start.

I would play twine up top with proctor and devitt in midfield with josh and labs.

Twine has been superb so far,most of his goals have come from being behind the strikers and running into space.Don’t change it if it’s not broke.

Is Shephard still injured?

We haven’t heard if Labs or Shep are fit,if they are then they will both start.Flynny will probably continue with Abrahams,Devitt on the bench.

Vale are a functional side, well set up, though somewhat lacking flair. However they're without an important player, defensive midfielder Joyce (suspended). I'd take advantage of that by playing an extra midfielder at the expense of a central defender (Vale play just a lone central striker and two deep-lying wingers - arguably their two best players - so us having three centre-backs on the pitch is a bit of a mismatch).

Dominating possession in midfield is the way I feel we should go.

If we are still top of the league at 5pm whatever team MF picked will have been the right one. Cmon the County.
