I agree no other real stand out performance- Sheehan worked hard but final output not great, Townsend kept us in it first half, otherwise solid but unexciting performance- a win is a win though.

Went fo Dolan. Unsung but in my view very solid.

Ellison, on for only a few minutes but could have had an assist to go with his winning goal.

Willmott got some decent crosses in though and Townsend made a few decent saves. Otherwise it looked like it was for most the team - the first game for a fortnight.

Josh for me. Excellent first half, a few lapses of concentration in the second but you can see that his confidence has soared.

Nearly went for Josh, who did look a class apart, but at the same time I thought he tried too many balls today that didn't come off, so plumped for Matty, who is looking excellent in his new role. Can understand those going for Ellison too.

Went for Dolan but very nearly gave it to Ellison and to think some people doubted Ellison who will be massive on and off the pitch this season.

Chose Dolan for his full 90 minutes performance. Good performances from Sheehan, Shepherd and special mention for Willmott.

Great all round team effort.
