23 points dropped from winning positions. It worked in the great escape and to start with this season.Flynny thinks it will work forever, teams have noticed that we drop back and give them the ball and invite pressure. It doesn't help when we have a number of players who are so slow,if myself at 61,would fancy my chances in a sprint against them, then professional footballers will out sprint them and cause us problems.

And I think possibly Labadie. I believe that stupid booking today might have earned him a 2 match holiday after accumulating 10 yellows!!
I make it ten yellows and one red for Labadie including cups:

Swansea H
Watford H
Bolton A
Bradford A
Colchester H
Carlisle A
Forest Green A
Oldham A (Red)
Colchester A
Leyton Orient H
Barrow A

Has to be his last season for us surely, his absences for suspensions and injuries is far too much for a team captain.

He would be on my retained list, but all of our midfielders are too similar really. Well, the ones we choose to play.

Anyone who can create rather than spoil doesn't feature in the plans. What has happened to the ex-Swansea lad who came in, and we paid something like a £20,000 agent fee for? Supposedly highly rated, but hasn't even been given a run out that I can recall.

Gambin - unlocks defences, scores international goals, but gets dropped for anyone who turgidly holds their position and doesn't take any risks.

That's me out for this season. Since Twine and Cooper left, we have been extremely poor for the most part, and I don't see it changing for the last 9 games with the way our team is set up every week. Our management is not brave enough to get promoted - that team yesterday was the most cautious starting 11 I've seen, no pace, no spark, no adventure. I can't be arsed to watch that sorry.

No we are not - we are in free fall - no tactics- no motivation in the players - no idea how to manage a game- a manager who is wasting what money we have with s@@@ signings. We will be broke and non league if we do not sack Flynn now. It is a shame he had a legacy which will end up destroyed.
How on earth will sacking the manager now prevent us from becoming broke. Agree that our signings since Jan have been an expensive disaster, but they are here for the remainder of the season, like it or not, then the vast majority of the squad will be out of contract in a couple of months.
A decent finish with some tactics and engaged players will help generate income for next year - season tickets, sponsorship etc. At the moment Flynn is driving us to oblivion and only a change in management will reverse it - players don’t want him clearly.

Have you seen all the sponsorship deals the club has done over the past few weeks?
Yes no detail published and it occurs to me that signing deals when you don’t know what league you are in is maybe not the best strategy, unless there is an escalator clause, not that we will be L1 !
But if you are happy with what you are seeing and believe Flynn is the man that is fine.

Getting sponsorship deals well in advance of the new season is 100% the way to go.
I'm not exactly happy with what I am seeing but still believe Flynn has something to offer us and I'm not going into a meltdown like you.

Who's the managerial tactical genius that buys only great players within a tight budget you had in mind to take over ?
Before the season yes but if you were selling sponsorship and pricing it would you differentiate between a L2 product and a L1 product that is my point. My concern is that there are some sharp operators who have obtained a great deal from us - good luck to them and thank you for the support but potentially poor County business.
I am not in meltdown but today is yet another game where the players don’t appear to be trying for the management or are confused about what they should be doing - how long can it go on.
Add to this Flynn’s treatment of some players Baker - LK one mistake and banished, Farkey now appears to be having same treatment.
Panic substitutions and no idea how to change formation to change the momentum of a game.
All managers have a shelf life - Flynn looks worn down - something needs to happen.

No, not before the season, now is the right time to get the deals made. Perhaps you might want to just give the commercial manager a tiny bit of credit in that he has factored in amounts depending on which league we will be in, after all, it's his job.
I am pleased to see your faith in him - I trust this is based on personal experience of dealing with him.

It's quite sad that you can't even give the guy any credit but hey ho, you're the glass half empty type, fair enough.
I have spoken with him on a couple of occasions, nice, seems to know what he's doing and has great ideas.

Same amount of red cards this season as Demetriou, Sheehan, Bennett, Shephard.
I like him, we need a combative midfielder, yes he goes over the top with his discipline sometimes but rather that than someone that doesn't put a foot in.
Over the last few years every time Labs hasn't played the same thing gets said, "we were soft in midfield and need Labadie back in"

Retained list will be interesting - I think Dolan is the only player to come out of the season with an enhanced reputation, he and Lewis would certainly be on my list then it’s if the price was right on Shepherd, Demetriou, Haynes, Keepers, Bennett. Time to move on for the rest not under contract with the possible exception of Collins and LK (can’t remember if he is under contract).

Hopefully, the Sporting Director will be in place soon. His first remit is to help Flynny with player retention and recruitment. This will prevent sentiment and give sensible advice rather than Flynny relying on his own agent for signings.

Agreed. There's undeniably value in a Labadie-type player, but not this model.
