1. Putsy
2. Poap.
I keep encountering the use of the word Poap at my current place of work and, having googled it and seen questions such as:
"Can I sell my poap?"
"Is poap tradeable?"
"Is it free to create poap?"
I fear my "inner schoolboy" is going to get me in trouble at some point.

4Derived from "poop".
It was commonly used at my school in the seventies (by us boys at least) .

5'Bumba clart' was a popular one in the 1990's although 'clarts' was coined by the great Norman Stanley Fletcher in the 'Porridge' comedy show as in 'dropped me right in the clarts', I do remember 'safe spa/bla(u)d'...rncfc wrote: May 22nd, 2023, 2:18 pm Spa (in the Newport context)

The incorrect use of tenses ('I seen im down Tesco's') is a 'thing' but not as prevalent as we might think and probably extends beyond Newport - I also think a lot of people do it as a bit of an in joke.
