It's an age old problem
And they'd play a game with you, we've hung around outside a big game right up to kick-off in the hope the touts would sell their last tickets off cheap - they'd rip them up in front of you rather than compromise their pitch.

It is an age old problem. And you will never stop touts getting their hands on some tickets.

Drink driving is an age old problem. You will never stop some people drink driving. But the introduction of the breathalyizer stopped a lot of people drink driving.

Now whenever there is a big match, some people who deserve a ticket will miss out, no matter what you do. But two things. Firstly the club should do everything in it's power to ensure as many genuine fans get to see the game as possible. And I also believe that perhaps those supporters fortunate enough to have tickets were a little bit more considerate towards those who don't.
