1684I was watching Wales on the iPad and England on the tele.His first touch was a silky run and pass then,a shot at goal.I’m not sure how close it was as I had the sound down then,he clears one off the line.A impressive 20 minute cameo and with Henderson and Maguire doubtful and now TAA possibly out,he could get in the squad on that showing.Ugo. wrote:Ben White came on as a sub tonight for England

1688I'm sure he can get a gig nearer home in the NL on the back of his time with us. Outstanding debut against Brighton but it's hard to argue with the stat that the only game he started which we won was Grimsby and there were a couple of poor defeats..

1690Flynn can’t be that bad a judge of a player. He predicted that Ben White would play for England fairly early into Ben’s loan period at the County.

1692Hopefully we will have a SD in place who will attempt to find future stars, Flynn has not shown he is a manager who develops talent, prefers tried and tested players who are past their best.

1694Thoroughly well deserved. Well done Ben. I note that the fans/commentators seem to have a dilemma with him. He played very well yesterday as a centre back. Apparently he has been playing on the right side of a back three for Brighton this season. With us, when I saw him he was a left back. Don't think he ever played left back for us, it was mostly the right side of a back 3.
