This is why I never want our club to be owned by an individual ever again - as a fan one loses total control - where the Chesterfield buck stops now nobody knows.

On the field they only have 2 points from their last 7 games and were also turned over in the FA Trophy by Workington (remember them?). They currently have an 8 point buffer from the relegation zone but I think they had about the same as that last year and we know how that ended up

Off the field the club is up for sale with debts over a million. Apparently the next week is crucial for any potential takeover. Last Saturday they had to borrow training kit from opponents Dagenham for some of their players

Their forum is full of doom and gloom although they did give us a good mention after we beat Leeds

They could end up doing a York and dropping another division

Once you are on a downward slide its hard to get off

I don't think the reality of how difficult a division it is really hits clubs until they are in the thick of it.
