sounds good to meB0mbshell wrote:Might be the best result. The replay will probably be on S4C (more money) hopefully we’ll get a good draw on Monday & get a massive crowd for the replay full of the glory boys looking to get a 3rd Round ticket.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
62Yes it varied between poor and desperate: Day saved us plus the woodwork and some great clearances.Pipe had a good game ad did Crofts apart from one stray PASS. I was underwhelmed with Matt, Sheehan, Bakinson and Amond. We will win the replay but were second best tonight.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
63Pipe was OK by his standards, he has his limitations but does a job, certainly had a better game than Sheehan, Amond and Bakinson on the night.Taunton Iron Cider wrote:
Pipe was awful and as for our midfield, yet again they were non existent.
Surely we won't play that poorly again this season and will work out how to play against a packed midfield for the replay.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
65We were disorganised, no midfield no threat up front and lucky that the Gogs couldn't put away their chances.
Having said that I think we'll win the replay

66Precisely lets get the cash from a replay
We can beat them at home.

68They were better organised than us we are going to need to work much harder on the return leg.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
69Hopefully, Matty Dolan and Josh Ladabie will be available. Should make a hell of a difference.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
70Absolutely, Crofts was on his own in most midfield tonight.Cornish Exile wrote:Hopefully, Matty Dolan and Josh Ladabie will be available. Should make a hell of a difference.
Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
71Was always going to be tough up there. Should be a different game at Rodders. We were nowhere near our best yet they still didn’t have enough to beat us. That’s a positive.

72Labadie ? Do you know something I don’t ? Is he even training ? He’s not even making the bench.Cornish Exile wrote:Hopefully, Matty Dolan and Josh Ladabie will be available. Should make a hell of a difference.

74Labadie part of the pre-match commentary team tonight, said he's hoping to get 20mins game time v Cheltenham on Tues so has to be in contention for the replay.
Very subdued County performance tonight. I thought the game was crying out for Wilmott to take on the defence and put a cross in. Hopefully he's back for the replay. No one really stood out on the night except Beavon, and maybe Micky D and Day.

Re: Exiles Grandstand FA Cup Round 2
75Yes we definitely missed Willmott. His crosses have been greatly missed and never mind the criticism of him not tackling. I can't remember too many tackles from Bakinson tonight or surging runs. Butler did play well and looks totally pumped up for it. We've got to have more options in midfield. I wwould try Podge in midfield and start with Semenyano up front.
