Was on Jim White's show on Talksport this morning. Interesting listening to him about what happened and how he found it. He was very complimentary about the support he'd had from the club. Hope he finds himself a successful career. I'm sure there is a way of finding and listening back if you're interested!

The way the club have dealt with Frazer,'s very unfortunate illness is a marked improvement on how Ian Hillier was treated by a previous regime and is the way as a club we should behave.

Thank goodness we have progressed from that horrendous episode with Ian Hillier.

That's the beauty of being able to elect who runs our club. More candidates giving more choice would enhance this.

Not sure that's so. One would hope that any decent group of human beings would come to the same conclusion. I suspect that in retrospect those in charge of Newport County when the Hillier affair occurred probably wish they had been far wiser and compassionate.

The funny thing was the club had a solicitor at the time. Countylaw as he liked to style himself. Leaving aside the utterly lacking compassion, the legal position our club took was unsustainable. To sack a person who is sick without going through proper procedure is undefendable.

In short it was an unwinnable case.

The point being they never came up for re-election in those days so we couldn't vote them off the board by voting in favour of an alternative candidate.
