Because it's in Red & White the Stevenage home kit has the unfortunate position, in that it somewhat resembles a paper fries bag from Burger King. I'm not sure if that was the intention. In terms of recognised brands, Burger King seems like a great deal.
But on the subject of the kit itself, swap the red for amber, and white for black and we're looking an what could be an OK County kit. The away kit would need to be all white though, or maybe red, but amber and black home would be fine.

Cutting edge, I wasn't sure at first but as long as it's only on the sleeves (and the pattern is amber on amber on the main body of the shirt) I like it.

As for "cheap Sunday league design", 99% of Sunday kits now are cheapo Nike/Adidas/Jako/Joma/ProStar (or similar) efforts which are plain as plain can be with the odd flash of a second colour. Loud parks designs are a thing of the early 90s (for the moment).
