14 unbeaten now
Our record in that streak is
P14 W7 D7 L0 F13 A5 Pts28 (out of a possible 42)
Quite the defensive turnaround when you consider how we were leaking goals in the first half of last season

Re: GRANDSTAND: The Polish Capital City Match
3614 weeks out for Demetriou is good news (or rather better than expected news). We'll just have to wait and see with the two new injuries tonight. But on the face of it looks like the problems of last season with injuries to midfielders looks like it's being repeated.Ugo. wrote:Argus on County

38Typical of you Jim. Long winded and at the end of it all nobody really knows what you think.UPTHEPORT wrote:That was a crap game

39I’d be interested to know your thoughts on that ref ???UPTHEPORT wrote:That was a crap game
Re: GRANDSTAND: The Polish Capital City Match
40A good point and a clean sheet but,a bit light in midfield without Dolan,Bennett and then Labs.Willmott and Podge not in their correct positions so the result better than the performance.
Re: GRANDSTAND: The Polish Capital City Match
41Poor game but a good battling point. We never looked like scoring but thankfully neither did they. All of these injuries and stupid bookings are a concern. The defence is holding up well but we lack firepower up front.
Re: GRANDSTAND: The Polish Capital City Match
42Great away point against one of the favourites. At no stage last night did I think we were going to get beat. I think sometimes you've just got to appreciate the way the team is evolving, every player ran their hearts out and did their jobs. My main thought last night was I would not like to play against us every week.We didn't give Walsall a second's breathing space and were comfortable in and out of possession. Some games are a battle, last night was a battle, being the away side we won the battle. There will be plenty of games this season where we just play teams off the park.
Re: GRANDSTAND: The Polish Capital City Match
43OK we battled for a 0-0 draw. As uptheport said it was a crap game. The ref did make some bizarre decisions but they often do.
We look solid in defence but as for going forward it was simply hoof ball. We don't necessarily look weak in midfield, we bypass midfield. Their central defence were solid and we didn't seem to have a plan B.
It was a good point agreed but it was poor entertainment.

44Pretty awful game, but drawing ugly is better than losing a thriller. I don't think either keeper made a serious save.
Good that the Charlton lad got some game time, although he did give the ball away a couple of times. My man of the match (based on watching it live on IFollow) would be Howkins.

45Anybody know how many supporters we took after? Was the 200 initial allocation justified?
