Re: Exiles Grandstand Bradford
49NEWPORT County AFC manager Michael Flynn admitted he is worried by his side’s League Two form after they suffered a fourth successive defeat, going down 1-0 at Bradford City.
County frustrated the home side for almost an hour before an under-hit back-pass from defender Ryan Inniss led to a penalty when James Vaughan was brought down by goalkeeper Nick Townsend.
Vaughan scored from the spot and that was enough to give the Bantams all three points as the Exiles failed to register a shot on target until stoppage time.
“I thought we competed well, but we gave them a goal,” said Flynn. “We shot ourselves in the foot.
“We still didn’t do enough going forward, but we were better.
“We looked more organised and we tried to play a bit, especially in the first half.
“But we were lacking creativity and lacking movement.
“It’s not just the strikers, the quality into them wasn’t good enough.
“If it’s not good enough, they can’t do much. But when they got it, they were either flat-footed or they gave it away.
“I am worried,” added the Exiles boss. “I don’t like losing football matches. We need to change it around and get some wins in the league.”
Flynn’s men are down to 12th in the table, four points behind seventh-placed Northampton Town with two games in hand.
Their next two matches are against bottom two Stevenage and Morecambe.
Almost every fan has been saying the same for weeks , glad he is now up to speed and admitting it

You are saying that not being an attractive proposition to a higher club means MF now has a worthless CV?
It doesn't make any sense, but post-match knee jerk comments never do.

Yeah, that’s exactly what his cv would say ‘we have lost our last 4 games’ .. priceless. Nothing of the ‘great escape’, getting to the play off final or the cup runs all on a small budget ...
Fair play, some of our fans are fecking bonkers

54No, you initially said he now has a worthless CV, and when I pointed out that that was pathetic, you then backtracked and compared a worthless CV to not being attractive to a higher club.Anto wrote:I asked if he would still be an attractive proposition to a higher club.gwhoareya wrote:Ok.Anto wrote:Why not? please explain.whoareya wrote:Anto wrote:You think he's still an attractive proposition to a higher club?whoareya wrote:Pathetic.Anto wrote:Flynny's CV is now worthless.

Exile currently there are no tactics, just hope which doesn't win you much.
not worried about the defence but its a woeful midfield making our 3 forwards woeful also.
Dolan & Maloney hopeless all season.
Not a chance for promotion with one midfielder Josh plus an off form Labs.
Front 3 hopeless currently.
Stevenage is a monster game for us now.
Loose again to another out of form side and the knives will be out for sure.

Re: Exiles Grandstand Bradford
59We are paying Flynny £2500 a week to produce this particular brand of football. Are we getting value for money?.He deserved a healthy bonus for the great escape and the cup runs but, should he be getting this incredible amount from a club with the third lowest budget in L2.
