He was one of,if not the highest earners with us.Even so,one weeks pay at Cardiff is about one months pay with us.Is it four kids he has,no brainer with two year deal and the security it brings.Someone said Poole is on £5k a week, again like Joe,he would have loved to have stayed here but, probably £2k Max is all we could have offered.

Commentator on the Swansea game said Smithies was playing amid talk of Etheridge leaving in the window, that would promote Day to no. 2.

Yes apparently West Ham are after the Middlesbrough keeper as first choice but there are some concerns over a recent injury / medical he had. Etheridge is the 2nd choice if the Boro deal falls through, therefore Harris has taking him out of the team until all sorted. Harris did say he has 3 quality keepers all wanting game time and that is one to many so Joe will indeed go up to number two. I think Smithies may be out of contract in the summer as well.....?

Yesterday on BBC Wales they said it was Etheridge that was probably going to leave..
Probably now saying Day will leave on loan because Wet Spam didnt want to pay £7million for Etheridge and nobody else are willing to pay that much transfer fee.
More chance of off loading Day because of his wage demands...

Harris?

Neil Harris, Cardiff manager. The question surely should have been........ Warnock?
