Can someone explain, when a try is scored, then a conversion kick is taken, how do they determine from exactly WHERE the kick should be taken?....

Hi NGR. As far as I am aware, with my limited knowledge, the conversion is taken at a point in line with where the player grounded the ball behind the try line. The kicker can choose any spot on the pitch that is in line with that point, eg, he can take the kick from 10, 20, 30 or even further yards out.
