I worked in the NHS all my working life. The waste of resources and any inefficiency was invariably down to management appointed by central government and not by the excellent working staff at the patient end. Trust bosses were often parachuted in from private industry on high salaries but with no competence in health care and no dedication to patient welfare. The NHS gets reformed at regular intervals but never sensibly. Senior management should be left to people trained in the health professions and not run by ex-brigadiers and captains of industry. They manage to inflict enough mayhem in their own chosen fields.

You could play cricket because you can keep social distancing where you can't in football
As long as the keeper always stands back, and you only have 2 slip and gully. Mind you it will be a bit difficult with a spinner being so close to the umpire for so long
That won't actually be that long given that the bowler has to nip to the dressing room between deliveries to wash his hands.

That's right, with these and other programmes planned (esp defence) the industry will kick straight back following Covid. This in turn will start to make Britain Great Again!

Stop that, UTP. We want none of that sense-talk spoken in here. Trident will keep us safe in our beds etc etc, and shaving ten minutes or whatever it is off Brum-London will reinvigorate the north. Honest.
