in Belarus does anyone know and why hasn't FIFA got involved
Have you seen the crowds as well unbelievable
Re: How are they allowed to play football
2I agree with you - it's crazy.
I find it also baffling that ITV or BBC haven't bought the UK rights for the games, I think they would have good viewing figures. Perhaps they are doing the right thing in not raising expectations?

3Mad that they’ve also ‘only’ had 89 covid deaths in a population of nearly 10million
Re: How are they allowed to play football
4I have watched a few of these games on my William Hill account and at first there were very few supporters as I think they were supposed to be played behind closed doors but the crowds have steadily grown.
It was strange seeing the fans wearing face masks but stood next to each other

5The Belarus teams will be good bets in European competitions then early rounds anyway

6I'm sure they'd say that they are following the science. A different science to us which in turn is a different science to the WHO. As with many things in life, you gets what you pay for.
Re: How are they allowed to play football
7Will be interesting to see whether their infection and death rates end up being higher than those in the rest of Europe (i.e. it could give us a good indication as to whether lockdown makes a marked difference - you would think it should!).UPTHEPORT wrote:in Belarus does anyone know and why hasn't FIFA got involved

8Zero chance anything Belarus official figures say is to be trusted, the president is not far behind Kim Wrong-un in the mad leader stakes.

Not sure about putting accumulators on Belarus football is wise....
My advice is keep it simple, for many years now I just have a pound on Shakhtyor Soligorsk to win 4-0, one day I will get a big return!

12I've just put a three fold on. £5 down for a £104 return!

14Supporter at a game interviewed on TV news was asked why no-one seemed nervous, replied cheerfully that it's because they were all drunk!
