I heard on radio this morning the 'R ' number has hardly changed for Wales after the first week in lockdown

The reduction in R rate isn't expected to be evident until after the conclusion of the lockdown.

I found out yesterday that a colleague had succumbed to COVID. I checked his Facebook page and, bitter irony, he'd set his profile picture to one with a footer saying "stay in, save lives, protect the NHS".
