Someone has started up a Literature thread on here, great idea. In an attempt at keeping things light hearted, I think we should have a nomination for the most cheesiest/corniest song ever written. You know, the one that is so bad that it is actually very good. If we get enough nominations, if I can sort out how to do it, we can even have a poll. No spoilers though
My nomination for the greatest corniest song ever played is;
Kursall Flyers - he knows that she knows that he knows, she’s two timing me.
The most fabulous and outrageous lyrics you will ever hear. A Mike Batt classic. Bikinis, urgency, detergent. It’s all there. Stupendous music.

Good Evening
Just browsing whilst doing my ablutions....
I’m not into any music in particular, I like a pretty broad cross section. However I think I can possibly add to the cheesy aspect.
Of the few bands/artists I have seen live in distant history are..
The Dooleys
Lonnie Donegan
Liquid Gold
Paco Pena
Madness
Nothing to shout about with that lot!
I had teenage crushes on Lynsey De Paul, Dana, and Suzi Quattro amongst others!
Phil in Northampton

Queen "The Invisible Man"
Poison "Every Rose has it's Thorn"
Two - I have heard in the last week. "Cheesy" really is subjective!

This
has to be my favourite cheesy track, the lyrics are so good I always listen to the whole song from start to finish. And then can’t get the song out of my head all day.
